Yellowstone Might Not Have a Season 6 but Multiple Spinoffs

In an Interview, Kelly Reilly who appears as Beth in Yellowstone stated “We are absolutely ending this show” . In 2023, Paramount Networks also commented that Season 5 will be the last of Yellowstone. This report came forward after it was confirmed that Kevin Costner will not return as John Dutton in Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2. So, the chances of Yellowstone Season 6 happening are pretty low .
However, not all hope is lost. Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, who plays Rip, had an interview with The Hollywood Reporter where the two actors said how Taylor Sheridan can potentially continue the story of Beth and Rip. In this conversation, Cole Hauser spoke about Sheridan’s brilliance and stated-
“Taylor can figure out how to absolutely continue if he wants to. But that’s just Taylor being a brilliant writer. I’m not telling you that it is continuing, it’s just that he’s smart enough as a writer to do that if that’s something that he is passionate about.” – Cole Hauser
Following this, Kelly Reilly also talked about Sheridan’s creative brilliance and how she trusts him with her character. She said that whatever he might write for the future of the character is going to be good and she has full faith in the future if Yellowstone were to avoid its end. She commented-
“It’s up to him, We trust him. He’s a master storyteller, and we help him tell these characters’ stories, and it’s been such a ride and so electrifying to play and so invigorating,I trust him. I trust him with wherever he takes her; whether we’re leaving her where we’ve left her, or we’re going to find her somewhere else, I trust him. I really could go either way right now.” – Kelly Reilly
Considering Rip and Beth moved away and are now building their ranch, we can expect a spinoff based on these characters. The same is with Kayce and his family so let’s wait and see what happens.
