Dr. Fairburn is the chief psychiatrist at the Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital, who leads the Tyler Galpin case. She enters the picture in Season 2’s second episode, when Wednesday shows up at the hospital to meet Tyler. Fairburn is one of the complicated characters we were introduced to in the television series. She is shown as a normie who helps the troubled outcasts to redeem their normal lives.
When the crows started creating chaos in Jericho, things got muddier when Wednesday encountered Fairburn at Nevermore’s premises on the day when the students got attacked. That day, Wednesday started seeing her as someone who holds the capability to be a mastermind of the brutal killings. So, she started keeping an eye on her.
However, the fourth episode of the new season came with a twist, revealing that Wednesday was on the wrong boat. Judi, whom we knew as Fairburn’s assistant, was the ultimate villain. Like the other villains, before doing any harm to the protagonist, she revealed that she was the one who had committed the crimes. She also stated that she was using Fairburn to be the face of the facility so that she wouldn’t capture anyone’s attention.
Although Dr. Fairburn wasn’t the mastermind, she was indeed involved in exploiting the outcasts. Given that, how can it be possible that Fairburn is the chief psychiatrist at the facility without any clue of the LOIS programme? However, as they say, karma spares no one, so if Dr. Fairburn was involved in all of this, she ended up becoming Slurp’s meal during the chaotic breakout at the Willow Hill Hospital.
