Samsung recently started a subscription model for home appliances in South Korea. It received a positive response in the country, and that could be why the tech giant is branching out this option to their smartphones as well. This could give consumers a taste of their flagship phones without having to buy one.
Renting and subscription is a cheaper alternative than paying the high asking price upfront. And in the era where phone prices are reaching above $1500 at times, a subscription doesn’t sound like that bad of an idea. The Galaxy AI plan will be released along with the release of the Ballie companion robot by Samsung, which will also be available with a subscription in Korea.
