As if introducing pets in the game wasn’t enough, the Grow a Garden Lunar event is here to spice things up even further. Besides packing some rare crops and pets, the new event finally brings the night cycle to the game. However, we also have a handy new lunar quest that gets you some sweet rewards. Grow a Garden Lunar Glow Event Quest: How to Get Lunar Points
When you first boot up Grow a Garden, you will see the game now has three owls at the center, where you would normally find the Venus Flytrap . Begin by walking up to the big one at the center, who goes by the name Wise Owl . Talk with it, and it will tell you to get Moonlit fruits, which are basically crops with the new Moonlit mutation .
For those unaware, this new Grow a Garden mutation gives the plants a 2x sale value . You can only get this at night. Check out how to get the Moonlit mutation in Grow a Garden here.

Once you have collected a lot of Moonlit plants, bring them to the owl and select the “ Take this plant ” dialogue during the interaction. Note that you can only hand the plants to the owl one at a time. Once the owl takes the plant, he will add Lunar Points to your progress .
You should note that the number of Lunar Points you get is proportional to the plant’s rarity. So the rarer the plant, the higher the points. Here is a simple breakdown of the point system:
- Common: 1 Lunar Point
- Uncommon: 2 Lunar Points
- Rare: 3 Lunar Points
- Legendary: 4 Lunar Points
- Mythical: 5 Lunar Points
- Divine: 6 Lunar Points
Grow a Garden Lunar Event All Rewards Track
Now that you know how to get Lunar Points easily, it’s time to track your progress. Note that you will require a total of 520 Lunar Points to complete the whole event. To check how far you’re at, interact with the small owl on the left, and a pop-up window will show you the next reward.

Click on the reward track button to check all the rewards available for collecting the reward points, and this includes various pets, Night Seed Packs, Night Staff, and Pet Eggs. Here’s a full list of all Grow a Garden Lunar Event rewards:
As you might be able to tell already, the Lunar event in Grow a Garden does provide some nice rewards. The Night Seed Pack contains seven seeds that will grow into brand new, beautiful plants, and the Moon Blossom is the rarest and most profitable among them.
From the Night Eggs , you can get six new and unique pets, including the Hedgehog, Mole, Frog, Echo Frog, Night Owl, and Raccoon. Each has its personality, which can help you with various boosts. Finally, the Night Staff can be beneficial if you want your plants to get Moonlit mutations quickly.
