The 48-year-old made the announcement while playing through 2010’s Red Dead Redemption on stream, adding that the news is all he could think about. While he refused to provide any further details, the vague tease was enough to stir up anticipation among fans online.
Clips of his cryptic statement began doing the rounds online almost immediately, with fans proposing all sorts of theories on what the news could be. Here’s what Wiethoff had to say:
“I got such exciting news. I can’t share it with you right now. It’s absolutely killing me. By the end of this week, hopefully sooner, not as soon as tomorrow, but definitely before Friday. Oh, my goodness! The news that I have to share, and I won’t be the only one sharing it, I cannot wait for you to know what’s going on. And that’s all I can say.
