Pokemon GO Well Armed Event Date and Time
The Well Armed event in Pokemon GO has been released on Thursday, December 11 , 2025, and will be available for 6 days . We have listed the start and the end times below.
- Start Date and Time : Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 10 AM local time
- End Date and Time : Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 8 PM local time
Once the event ends , you will no longer be able to take part and obtain the rewards.
Pokemon GO Well Armed Event Bonuses

The Well Armed event offers bonuses for catching Pokemon and earning Candy. You can get 2x Candy for catching Pokemon . On top of that, there is an increased chance to encounter Shiny Dynamax Hitmonlee and Shiny Dynamax Hitmonchan under Pokemon GO POwer Spots.
Now is the perfect time to stock up on Pinap Berries and get those candy gains from the wild spawns you see. You can even complete the Global Challenge with other players to unlock the bonus: Increased Candy and Candy XL from Max Battles .
Global Challenge
A Global Challenge will take place throughout the Well Armed event, and trainers around the world need to complete in Max Battles. To complete the Global Challenge, a total of 10,000,000 Max Battles must be won globally. Take part in the event, and complete as many Max Battles as possible as a community to complete the challenge.

New Pokemon Debut
Clobbopus is the new Fighting-type Pokemon debuting in Pokemon GO during the Well Armed Event. However, all players must work together to complete the Global Challenges to unlock this Pokemon in the wild. Once Clobbopus starts spawning, you can catch it and use 50 Clobbopus Candy to evolve Clobbopus into Grapploct.
You don’t need that many candies to evolve. But if you are stacking candies, we recommend keeping a fighting-type Mega Pokemon, like Mega Lucario to earn extra candy and candy XL when catching. You can even trade Clobbopus with friends to earn more candies.
