- The Peaky Blinders movie will bring back Cillian Murphy, Paul Anderson, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, Stephen Graham, and Ian Peck.
- Along with these returning actors, we will also get to see Barry Keoghan, Tim Roth, Jay Lycurgo, and Rebecca Ferguson.
- Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is set to release on March 6, 2026.
Peaky Blinders is one of the most beloved shows to come out. This show alone is responsible for the breakout of multiple actors with its insane storyline and impeccable performance put out by the actors. Peaky Blinders ran for six seasons, and after its conclusion, nobody thought that they would ever get to see Cillian Murphy back in action as Thomas Shelby. However, as it turns out, a Peaky Blinders movie is in the works that will bring back some of the characters from the TV show. Here is the Peaky Blinders movie cast, including all confirmed and rumored characters.
Cast of Peaky Blinders Movie
Now, I understand how exciting it has to be for you guys to learn about the Peaky Blinders movie and to make it easier for you guys to learn all about the cast of the upcoming project, here is a table with all the actors along with the characters they would appear as Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
Cillian Murphy as Thomas Shelby

Image Credit: Fred Duval / Shutterstock
Cillian Murphy took on the role of Thomas Shelby for the first time in 2013, and with the show’s first season, it became a massive success. He was a well-established actor even before Peaky Blinders, and after this, his fame rose to new heights. Cillian appeared in Peaky Blinders for six seasons straight, and now, we get to see him once again in his iconic trench coat, the first look of which we have already received in the trailer for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
Talking about the teaser trailer, the clip in itself does not reveal a lot, but it brings us a Thomas Shelby who is old and claims that he is no longer the man he used to be. However, if you are a fan of the show, you would know that whenever he has said something like that, he has gone ahead to prove himself wrong in the most cinematic of ways, so let’s wait and see what this movie has in store for us.
Sophie Rundle as Ada Shelby-Thorne

Image Credit: Featureflash Photo Agency / Shutterstock
Even before appearing in Peaky Blinders, Sophie Rundle has been working on projects, but this show turned out to be her breakout role. In the show, she appears as Ada Shelby-Thorne, and since the conclusion of her time with Peaky Blinders, she has appeared in multiple shows like Bodyguard, Gentleman Jack, and The Nest. Now, she is set to reprise her role as Ada in the Peaky Blinders movie cast. She will bring back the much-beloved dynamics between her and Thomas.
Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby

What would Thomas Shelby do without his most trustworthy family member, Arthur Shelby? Initially, Paul Anderson’s return to Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man was not confirmed, but recently, Steven Knight himself confirmed that he will be back on the screen with this flick. The uncertainty of his return was also rooted in how the final season of Peaky Blinders concluded.
If you haven’t watched it yet, I urge you to do so to gain a better understanding of what the fuss was all about. The bottom line is that Arthur Shelby is back, and the fandom couldn’t be happier.
Ned Dennehy as Charlie Strong
<img loading=“lazy” src=“https://static.beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Ned-Dennehy.jpg?w=1024" onerror=“this.onerror=null;this.src=‘https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhe7F7TRXHtjiKvHb5vS7DmnxvpHiDyoYyYvm1nHB3Qp2_w3BnM6A2eq4v7FYxCC9bfZt3a9vIMtAYEKUiaDQbHMg-ViyGmRIj39MLp0bGFfgfYw1Dc9q_H-T0wiTm3l0Uq42dETrN9eC8aGJ9_IORZsxST1AcLR7np1koOfcc7tnHa4S8Mwz_xD9d0=s16000';" alt=” Ned Dennehy at the red carpet premiere for movie, “The Thicket” - 4”>

Ned Dennehy became a renowned name after his appearance in Tyrannosaur (2011) and has appeared in renowned shows like Good Omens (2019). Talking about Peaky Blinders, Ned Dennehy appeared in the show as Charlie Strong, an uncle to Thomas but not biologically related. He worked at the docks and was of logistic importance to the Shelbys, and now, he is confirmed to appear in the cast of the Peaky Blinders movie.
Packy Lee as Johnny Dogs

Packy Lee appears in Peaky Blinders as Johnny Dogs, which was also the actor’s first major role. He stayed an integral part of the cast for all six seasons of Peaky Blinders and is a confirmed cast member for the upcoming movie. In the show, Packy Lee appears as Johnny Dogs, one of Tommy’s Romani cousins, and also acts as the mediator for the wedding between John and Esme. In the movie as well, we might get to see Lee as an employee cum friend of Thomas, just like in the show.
Stephen Graham as Hayden Stagg
<img loading=“lazy” src=“https://static.beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Stephen-Graham.jpg?w=1024" onerror=“this.onerror=null;this.src=‘https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhe7F7TRXHtjiKvHb5vS7DmnxvpHiDyoYyYvm1nHB3Qp2_w3BnM6A2eq4v7FYxCC9bfZt3a9vIMtAYEKUiaDQbHMg-ViyGmRIj39MLp0bGFfgfYw1Dc9q_H-T0wiTm3l0Uq42dETrN9eC8aGJ9_IORZsxST1AcLR7np1koOfcc7tnHa4S8Mwz_xD9d0=s16000';" alt=“Stephen Graham at the “Blitz” World Premiere - 6”>
Image Credit: Fred Duval / Shutterstock
Stephen Graham will reprise his role of Hyden Stagg in the Peaky Blinders movie. In the show, he appears as a dockworker union leader and might return to the role in the movie. However, there were speculations that Stephen Graham might appear as Arthur Shelby when Paul Anderson was not confirmed to appear in the movie, but now, that rumor has been cleared
Ian Peck as Curly

Image Credit: X (via Peaky Blinders)
Ian Peck appeared in Peaky Blinders as Curly, who was a rather minor character in the show. He used to work at the stable and was also the ferry boat steward working under the Shelbys. He might not be a very important character, but he is close to Thomas and the other Shelbys and is almost like family to them. Ian has been confirmed by Netflix to appear in the Peaky Blinders movie cast.
Barry Keoghan In an Unknown Role

Image Credit: Fred Duval / Shutterstock
Barry Keoghan is a phenomenal actor who hails from Ireland and has been cast in the Peaky Blinders movie. However, as of now, his role is under wraps, but the Peaky Blinders Movie will mark Keoghans’ reunion with Cillian Murphy after they worked together in Dunkirk.
Tim Roth In an Unknown Role

Image Credit: Damir Hajdarbasic / Shutterstock
Tim Roth is a veteran actor with several super successful projects under his belt. He rose to fame after his role in Reservoir Dogs , where he appeared as Mr. Orange. Now, he has been included in the Peaky Blinders movie cast, so there is a massive chance that his character is going to be of importance. As far as my guess goes, there is a chance that he might appear in a rather negative role.
Jay Lycurgo In An Unknown Role

Jay Lycurgo is an emerging actor and has not appeared in a lot of projects. His most notable role so far is that of Tim Drake/Robin in DC Titans . Even though his role is being kept under wraps, appearing in the Peaky Blinders movie might turn out to be the actor’s big break.
Rebecca Ferguson In An Unknown Role
<img loading=“lazy” src=“https://static.beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Rebecca-Ferguson.jpg?w=1024" onerror=“this.onerror=null;this.src=‘https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhe7F7TRXHtjiKvHb5vS7DmnxvpHiDyoYyYvm1nHB3Qp2_w3BnM6A2eq4v7FYxCC9bfZt3a9vIMtAYEKUiaDQbHMg-ViyGmRIj39MLp0bGFfgfYw1Dc9q_H-T0wiTm3l0Uq42dETrN9eC8aGJ9_IORZsxST1AcLR7np1koOfcc7tnHa4S8Mwz_xD9d0=s16000';" alt=“Rebecca Ferguson at the World Premiere of “Dune: Part Two” - 11”>
Image Credit: Fred Duval / Shutterstock
Rebecca Ferguson is a well-known name in the industry. She rose to fame after her breakout role in Mission: Impossible: Rogue Nation(2015) and, since then, has had a massive career as an actress. Just like the above-mentioned actors, her role in the Peaky Blinders Movie is unknown so far, and we will have to wait some more time to find out about it.
So these were all confirmed Peaky Blinders movie cast members revealed so far by Netflix. We will keep this article updated as more announcements follow.

2025 proved a blessing for cinephiles, offering a wide range of movies and television series. While some of the movies were released in theatres, others arrived on streaming services. In fact, there are also some that several fans missed watching in theatres. So, with the year coming to an end, we have listed the five best movies of 2025 that you can stream on Netflix right now.
1. Frankenstein

Image Credit: Demilo Films (via X/@FrankensteinGDT)
- Release Date: November 7, 2025
- Director: Guillermo del Toro
- Cast: Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz
- IMDb/ Rotten Tomatoes: 7.5/ 85%
Netflix’s Frankenstein is one of the best screen adaptations of the 1818 classic novel. Do you think you know the movie’s story? Well, you might be proved wrong. Frankenstein was Guillermo del Toro’s dream project, so he crafted a brilliant story based on the original. Well, the best part of his vision was that he didn’t make the creature seem like a mere horror; instead, he allowed us to see the creature’s human side.
Frankenstein follows Victor Frankenstein, a scientist, who is fascinated with death. So, he creates a creature using the body parts of the corpses. However, after the creature comes to life, Victor becomes frustrated with its appearance and the way it speaks and moves. He abandons him, but the creature, unable to accept rejection, follows Victor to seek answers.
2. Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery

Image Credit: T-Street Productions (via Netflix)
- Release Date: December 12, 2025
- Director: Rian Johnson
- Cast: Daniel Craig, Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, Thomas Haden Church
- IMDb/ Rotten Tomatoes: 7.5/ 93%
A Knives Out Mystery film never disappoints, and Wake Up Dead Man raised everyone’s expectations from the franchise even more. Unlike the previous instalments, this one comes with a more serious and intriguing plot. On top of everything, Daniel Craig’s Blanc has evolved more than ever and appears as a fully realised detective in Wake Up Dead Man.
The story of Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery kicks off with the murder of a religious leader in a small upstate New York church. A troubled priest of the church becomes the prime suspect, but when Blanc enters the picture, he instantly realises there is more beneath the surface that has not yet come to light.
3. KPop Demon Hunters

- Release Date: June 20, 2025
- Director: Maggie Kang, Chris Appelhans
- Cast: Arden Cho, Ahn Hyo-seop, May Hong, Ji-young Yoo, Yunjin Kim, Daniel Dae Kim, Ken Jeong, Lee Byung-hun
- IMDb/ Rotten Tomatoes: 7.5/ 95%
KPop Demon Hunters arrived on Netflix in June 2025 and, within days, garnered a huge fanbase for its stylish animation and top-notch visuals. Instead of just being a parody of KPop, it features behind-the-scenes, idol training, stage personas, and everything in the most subtle way. Above all, we also see the lead protagonists dealing with the supernatural while maintaining their normal lives.
Kpop Demon Hunters follow a girl group, who are Kpop idols during the day and trained demon hunters at night. They have taken on the responsibility of protecting the human world from the demonic threats that emerge from time to time. So, basically, when on stage, they are not only performing for their audience, but they are also creating an energy with their music that weakens the demons, keeping their fans safe.
4. Bring Her Back

Image Credit: Causeway Films (via Prime Video)
- Release Date: May 29, 2025
- Director: Danny Philippou, Michael Philippou
- Cast: Billy Barratt, Sora Wong, Jonah Wren Phillips, Sally Hawkins
- IMDb/ Rotten Tomatoes: 7.1/ 89%
Bring Her Back is one of those horror movies that depends on cheap jump scares. Instead, it makes the horror feel personal wth the unsettling setting and the uneasy silences. Besides that, it features a slow-burning story that rewards those who unapologetically stick to it until the very end.
Andy and Piper are placed in the care of a foster mother, Laura, after the death of their father. As the story moves forward, Laura is seen desperate to bring her dead daughter back to life. So, she decides to use blind Piper as a vessel.
5. Counterattack

Image Credit: Draco films (via Netflix)
- Release Date: February 28, 2025
- Director: Chava Cartas
- Cast: Luis Alberti, Noe Hernandez, Leonardo Alonso, Luis Curiel, David Leon, Guillermo Nava
- IMDb/ Rotten Tomatoes: 6/ 69%
There are rare movies out there that skip the over-explaining part and put the focus entirely on the central point, and Counterattack is one among those golden gems in existence. It is a Mexican movie that jumps straight into the action and follows a tight script throughout, without feeling rushed at any point. If you enjoy action films, this one is perfectly suitable for you.
The movie follows Captain Armando Guerrero, the lead officer of a Mexican special unit tasked with carrying out a routine operation. However, unknowingly, they cross paths and come in the way of a brutal drug cartel, and become their targets.

The Penguin’s first season is over, and it was as beautiful as we expected. Seeing Oswald Cobblepot making out alive after messing with dangerous crime families was an experience like no other. Of course, we’ll see this character return in The Batman movies and, hopefully, a second season. However, it’s also true that we’ll have to wait for a long period to see the character back on the screen. But don’t fret: there are several other TV shows like The Penguin that you can binge-watch in the meantime. Yes, these shows are incredibly good and will make you appreciate the crime drama genre even more.
1. Peacemaker

- IMDb: 8.3
- Starring: John Cena, Danielle Brooks
- Seasons: 1
- Episodes: 8
Of course, you might think we are suggesting Peacemaker because, like Penguin, it also comes from the DC Comics. However, that’s not the only similarity between these two shows. Like Oz, Christopher Smith (Peacemaker) also had a troubled past. He suffered a lot at the hands of his father, who was a racist and wanted to raise his son in a similar manner.
Like The Penguin, Peacemaker doesn’t shy away from violence and its emotional value. Even though Peacemaker takes on a comedic approach, it will surely remind you of Penguin in each episode. It will also make you wonder or wish for a scenario where Oz would have walked on Peacemaker’s path and become an anti-hero instead of an antagonist.
2. Watchmen

- IMDb: 8.2
- Starring: Regina King, Don Johnson
- Seasons: 1
- Episodes: 9
We all remember Zack Snyder’s Watchmen, the masterpiece that never got enough recognition. However, with time, the fandom started acknowledging the beauty of the movie, and thus, the creators decided to put more spotlight on these underrated characters through a TV show.
Like The Penguin, Watchmen is a dark and violent series that’ll make you fear for your favorite characters. It’ll keep you on your toes, always wondering what could happen next and what character could get killed.
3. Titans

- IMDb: 7.5
- Starring: Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop
- Seasons: 4
- Episodes: 49
The Penguin TV show tells you that not all villains are fully bad, and the Titans series tells the fandom that not all heroes are perfect. There’s an ounce of goodness in every bad guy’s heart and darkness in every hero’s heart.
Titans does come with some supernatural elements and is not as grounded as the Penguin, but it is very similar to the latest HBO Max show. The TV show focuses on the dark side of Gotham and all the crime families. Instead of focusing on a single villain or a hero, Titans give every hero and villain multiple chances to shine. Jason Todd, specifically, will remind you of Oz. Jason is also a broken boy like Oz, but unlike Cobblepot, Jason gets the right guiding hand at the right time.
4. Gangs of London

- IMDb: 8
- Starring: Joe Cole, Colm Meaney
- Seasons: 2
- Episodes: 17
In The Penguin, after Carmine Falcone’s death, his daughter Sofia has to take matters into her own hands to stop the forces trying to take over her father’s empire. Likewise, Gangs of London sees Sean Wallace have to fight for his rights after his father dies, leaving his entire criminal empire behind.
Finn Wallace, the most influential crime boss of London, is killed. Following the unfortunate incident, his son Sean Wallace has to take his place in the family and in the organization. However, as a newcomer, he faces several challenges in achieving what he desires.
5. Gotham

- IMDb: 7.8
- Starring: Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue
- Seasons: 5
- Episodes: 100
Gotham is nowhere canon to The Penguin or The Batman, but it’s surely one of the best crime drama series for DC fans. We’ve always watched Gotham from the perspective of Batman, with Bruce Wayne always taking a back seat.
However, the Gotham TV show puts most of its focus on Bruce Wayne’s childhood. It introduces you to younger versions of several popular characters, including Rachael and Cat Woman. Like The Penguin, the Gotham TV series takes you to the underbelly of the crime families.
6. Pennyworth

- IMDb: 7.8
- Starring: Jack Bannon, Ben Aldridge
- Seasons: 3
- Episodes: 30
Despite featuring different themes and plots, the aspect where Pennyworth and The Penguin match the vibe is the absence of our beloved caped crusader. Both shows occur in Batman’s universe, so the first thing fans notice is Batman’s involvement.
Do you remember Wayne’s family butler, Alfred Pennyworth? This show follows him in his early days when he wasn’t a servant but an ex-soldier trying to establish his own security agency in London. However, his dreams grab the attention of the crowd that wants nothing but the fall of the British government. Hence, Alfred must fight all the odds to reach his aspirations.
7. Breaking Bad

- IMDb: 9.5
- Starring: Bryan Cranston
- Seasons: 5
- Episodes: 62
Breaking Bad isn’t based on any comic book series, but if it had a comic book series, it’d surely fit best in the DC Universe. The journey of Walter White is similar to Oz’s in a lot of ways – both characters decide to dive into the underworld to prove their worth to the world.
The Penguin is about big crime families, and Breaking Bad is full of them. Both TV shows are about underdogs making a big name for themselves by playing mind games and bringing down some of the most dangerous drug lords. The Penguin has you rooting for Oz, who isn’t a good guy. Well, Walter White isn’t a saint either. He claims countless innocent lives just so he can become the biggest Meth distributor in all of America.
8. Peaky Blinders

- IMDb: 8.7
- Starring: Cillian Murphy
- Seasons: 6
- Episodes: 36
Peaky Blinders is surely one of the best crime drama series of all time. The series got several awards because of its unique story and unforgettable characters, especially Tommy Shelby. Honestly, Cillian Murphy’s portrayal of Thomas Shelby has become so famous that the character now deserves his own comic book series.
Of course, it’s a pipe dream, but if it does come to reality, we would love to see it being a part of the DC Comics. Why? Well, because it would be incredibly thrilling seeing Thomas Shelby and Penguin playing mind games with each other. Both characters aren’t physically strong, but they make big and become crime lords by taking advantage of their beautiful yet dangerous minds.
9. Boardwalk Empire

- IMDb: 8.6
- Starring: Steve Buscemi
- Seasons: 5
- Episodes: 56
Critically acclaimed for its visual styles and storytelling, Boardwalk Empire is a series that sees its main protagonist manipulating even influential political figures as per his will. Don’t you think HBO’s The Penguin’s primary character, Oz Cobb, does the same? The Penguin is all about the crime families dominating system and law of the entire city and Boardwalk Empire doesn’t shy away from giving spotlight to dangerous crime families.
Boardway Empire revolves around Nucky Thompson, who has to reach out to political figures and gangsters every now and then for the sake of business. The show never made it to the heights other shows like Peacemaker and Watchmen reached, but it is certainly the one you need not miss as a fan of this genre.
10. Sugar

- IMDb: 7.4
- Starring: Colin Farrell
- Seasons: 1
- Episodes: 8
Sugar is a crime drama series that will never fail to stun the fanatics with its twists and turns, like The Penguin. Besides that, the dark tone of Sugar and the unpredictable characters make us add the show to this list. Also, don’t forget that it’s one of the best TV shows Colin Farrell has worked on.
The series revolves around John Sugar, a detective who must solve the mystery of the granddaughter’s disappearance of a renowned and wealthy movie producer.
