• Accessories are a new type of cosmetic in Marvel Rivals set to release alongside Season 3.
  • These items function like weapon charms and can be equipped on specific heroes.
  • Accessories can be earned for free by collecting and redeeming a new currency named Accessory Points.

What Are Accessories in Marvel Rivals?

Accessories in Marvel Rivais are similar to weapon charms in popular live-service games such as Valorant and Apex Legends. However, unlike weapons, they are bite-sized cosmetics that can be equipped on specific heroes. According to the Accessories system’s reveal trailer, these items can be earned for free by redeeming Accessory Points.

Depending on the character, the accessory is displayed on a different part of their body . For instance, Emma Frost’s accessory hangs off her wrist, Jeff the Shark’s plushie dangles off his fin, and Psylocke’s charm is tied to the hilt of her katana.

Moreover, each accessory comes with a unique KO animation that is displayed on the right-hand side of the screen after every elimination.

How to Get Accessory Points in Marvel Rivals

Accessory Points in Marvel Rivals can be earned by playing matches in either the Quick Match or Competitive modes. Each accessory costs 1,350 Accessory Points , and you can only collect 700 points every week.

The weekly cap is likely a measure to prevent players from acquiring all the Accessories in a short span of time. Moreover, there’s a possibility that the accessory currency could be purchased using microtransactions in the future, but this has yet to be confirmed.
