Stitch, also known as Experiment 626, is the main character in the Lilo & Stitch live-action movie. He was created by Dr. Jumba Jookiba to cause destruction in the human world. However, after getting adopted by a girl named Lilo, Stitch starts to contradict the real purpose of his existence. He gets involved with Lilo and her elder sister to the extent that he forgets about his origin and truly becomes part of the family.

Chris Sanders voiced the blue fugitive alien in the 2002 animated film , and he’s back for the live-action. He originally created the character for a children’s book that was never published, but his design made it to the animated film. Sanders also blessed the industry with titles, including How to Train Your Dragon (2010) and The Wild Robot (2024), which he directed and co-wrote.

2. Maia Kealoha as Lilo Pelekai

Lilo Pilekai is the main protagonist of Lilo & Stitch. She is an orphan raised by her elder sister, Nani. Lilo doesn’t have any friends, so after mistaking Stitch for a dog, she adopts the alien without giving it a second thought. She is a timeless character who contributes heavily to the emotional core of the story.

Maia Kealoha is a Hawaiian actress who won millions of hearts with her acting skills and cuteness, of course, in the Lilo & Stitch live-action trailer. Though she doesn’t have a massive acting portfolio just yet, she was incredibly amazing in the audition, making her the perfect Lilo to our Stitch.

In an interview, the young actress also disclosed that she is a trained Hula dancer , and let’s not forget that Lilo, in the animated film, held a passion for Hula.

3. Sydney Elizebeth Agudong as Nani Pelekai

Following the death of her parents in a road accident, Nani Palekai becomes the legal guardian of her younger sister, Lilo. Despite facing financial struggles, she never fails to show up for her sister. She is the epitome of strength and an overprotective sister who cares too much for Lilo’s well-being. Nani initially didn’t want to let Stitch stay with them, but after witnessing the bond between Lilo and Stitch, she agreed to take him in as a family member.

Sydney Elizabeth Agudong is a Hawaii-based actress who started her acting career when she was only 8 years old. Before stepping into television, she honed her acting skills with commercials and theatrical performances. At the start of her television appearances, she was spotted as a guest star on shows such as Wizards of Waverly Place and No Good Nick . Later, she got her share of praise when she appeared in NCIS: Hawai’i as Kelly .

4. Zach Galifianakis as Dr. Jumba Jookiba

Hailing from the planet Quelte Quan, Dr. Jumba Jookiba is an overly intelligent yet evil scientist who has a hunger for chaos. That’s why he created Experiment 626, aka Stitch, to cause chaos in the world. Originally entering as an antagonistic figure in the game, Jumba eventually transforms into the most loyal ally to the Palekai sisters and helps them in the fight against the Galactic Federation that wants to capture Stitch. Among the other Lilo & Stitch characters, Jumba’s character arc is the most complex one.

Zach Galifianakis is an American actor who made us laugh our lungs out with his portrayal in The Hangover trilogy . Besides that, he is an award-winning actor who has not only entertained us with his performances in live-action projects but has also voiced several animated characters in titles like Puss in Boots , Thelma the Unicorn , and more.

5. Billy Magnussen as Agent Pleakley

Agent Pleakley is a supporting character in Lilo & Stitch who can make you laugh a little harder with his humor. Originally, he was chosen by the Galactic Federation to assist the mad scientist Dr. Jumba in catching Stitch . However, like the scientist, he also ends up becoming a true supporter of Lilo and Nani.

Billy Magnussen is an American actor who gained widespread recognition for his roles in Aladdin , Maniac , Birth of the Dragon , Bridge of Spies , and more.

6. Kaipo Dudoit as David Kawena

David Kawena is Nani’s kind-hearted and clumsy boyfriend . He never fails to support her whenever she needs a shoulder to lean on. He is an amazing surfer, but like Nani, he faces trouble securing a stable job. He also becomes a good friend to Lilo and helps Nani watch out for her, as he also sees Lilo as his own sister.

Kaipo Dudoit is a Hawaiian actor who doesn’t have a massive credits list so far. Before stepping in the shoes of David Kawena in Lilo & Stitch, he appeared as a queer character in My Partner and bagged a guest acting spot in Magnum P.I .

7. Tia Carrere as Mrs. Kekoa

Mrs. Kekoa is a new addition to the Lilo & Stitch universe. She is a 55-year-old character who replaces Bubbles as the main social worker of AANHPI. Official sources describe her as a kind and patient social worker who keeps an eye on Lilo and Nani’s everyday activities. She witnesses Nani’s struggles to keep her family together after their parents’ deaths.

Tia Carrere originally voiced Nani Pelekai in the 2002 animated film and every other Lilo & Stitch project. She is all set to take on the new role in the live-action remake.

8. Courtney B. Vance as Cobra Bubbles

Before becoming a social worker, Cobra Bubbles was a CIA agent whose work involved tackling extraterrestrial entities ; well, that’s what his background hints at. No wonder he is so strict in the movie. Bubble wants to ensure that Nani is able to take care of Lilo. That’s why he often warns the young woman to secure a job if she doesn’t want Lilo to go to a foster home. However, despite carrying a cold demeanor, Bubble can’t be called heartless, especially after witnessing how he treats Lilo.

Unlike many popular actors, Courtney B. Vance started his acting career on stage. Over the years, the American actor has bombarded the industry with several unforgettable characters in some of the most popular TV shows and films. The project includes Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The Mummy (2017), and more.

Netflix’s Frankenstein is one of the best screen adaptations of the 1818 classic novel. Do you think you know the movie’s story? Well, you might be proved wrong. Well, the best part of his vision was that he didn’t make the creature seem like a mere horror; instead, he allowed us to see the creature’s human side.

Frankenstein follows Victor Frankenstein, a scientist, who is fascinated with death. So, he creates a creature using the body parts of the corpses. However, after the creature comes to life, Victor becomes frustrated with its appearance and the way it speaks and moves. He abandons him, but the creature, unable to accept rejection, follows Victor to seek answers.

Above all, we also see the lead protagonists dealing with the supernatural while maintaining their normal lives.

Kpop Demon Hunters follow a girl group, who are Kpop idols during the day and trained demon hunters at night. They have taken on the responsibility of protecting the human world from the demonic threats that emerge from time to time.
