The previous chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo initiated an intense battle between Tsurugi and a first-grade curse user. Well, as promised, Chapter 5 of Modulo picks up right where the previous one left off. The latest JJK Modulo chapter will introduce the powers of Maru’s third eye and here’s how the chapter sets up the reveal.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 5 Is an Action-Heavy Adventure

Chapter 5 of JJK Modulo reveals that Masayoshi is, in fact, an extremely old curse user. This becomes evident when the supposedly 10-year-old child sheds his human skin, which reveals the scarred and evil face of the old curse user. On top of that, this cursed user, or Shikigami, is accompanied by a dangerous spirit, which, interestingly, holds threads and needles.
Of course, Maru is still unconscious, so it’s upon Tsurugo to take on this fight against the Grade-1 Curse User himself. However, Chapter 5 of Modulo confirms that the power of Tsurugi is no joke, as the young boy not only deflects every attack from the enemy, but he also reveals his Simple Domain.
While this domain is mostly defensive, Tsurugi implants his curse energy into his sword. Interestingly, this allows Tsurugi to automatically deflect every upcoming attack from the malicious old man, who apparently loves clinging to his childhood. Yes, that’s exactly why he was wearing human skins and attending school.
The old man gets surprised by Tsurugi’s strategy, but our beloved sorcerer also learns that it’s best not to underestimate his enemy. Apparently, when Yuka arrives on the battlefield and unleashes her attack, the old curse user injures her with a needle. Shockingly, Grade-1 Curse can use human skin to create a replica of himself, tricking his enemies at any point. At this point, Tsurugi is also injured after taking damage to his knees.
However, all the attention soon turned towards a shockwave of energy coming out of Maru. Everything around him, including the rubble, stars levitating in the air, like something big is about to happen. This energy is so threatening that even the Grade-1 Curse gets terrified.
Of course, this confirms that the next Chapter of JJK Modulo will finally reveal Maru’s incredible power. After all this time, we will finally see what this alien’s third eye can do, and we can’t be more excited about it.
