Dabura and Yuka Okkotsu’s fight commenced in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 15. The clash intensified with each new chapter, especially after Yuka summoned Mahoraga to tackle the enemy on her behalf. However, everything was going straight until Yuji stepped into the picture out of nowhere and sparked debate. Several fans believed that Yuji would corner Dabura in the further chapters, but now, as the JJK Modulo is here with Chapter 20, we can see Yuji not in the mood to interrupt the ongoing battle.
Why Yuji Itadori Avoided Fighting Dabura in JJK Modulo Chapter 20?

Yuji Itadori doesn’t choose to fight Dabura in the latest chapter because he believes that it is a fight between Yuka and Dabura, so he doesn’t have any role in it . In fact, Yuji also chose to stay out of Tsurugi and Maru’s fight. Turns out, Yuji is in no mood to act like the main character of the Modulo series.
In Jujutsu Kaisen, we saw Yuji Itadori never staying behind when it came to protecting others. He was someone driven by emotions and instincts, so he used to rush into the battles for the sake of others. However, now that he has aged, it seems Yuji has learned that it’s not necessary to make an impulsive move, as that can bring no solution to the problems. So, in the twentieth chapter of JJK Modulo, he instead chose to stay out and make sure that no one interferes in the ongoing battles.
Also, when a battle involves Mahoraga , it is better not to add a new combatant in that fight. Even though this time, Mahoraga isn’t an enemy, as it has been summoned by Yuka, there is still a huge risk factor. There are chances that it takes Yuji as an enemy, so in that case, the Divine General’s adapting abilities might accelerate, and it all gets messier than ever.
Besides that, Yuta Okkotsu has summoned Mahoraga, so if Yuji tries to carry the battle on his shoulders, there’s a chance that the control breaks, and the fight goes in the enemy’s favour. So, Yuji might have given these some thought and avoided taking anything on himself. However, Yuji does agree to clean up the mess if Yuka dies against Dabura. So, you can say Yuji does care a little bit, but not much to save his Yuta’s grandchildren.
