Instagram is largely known for its reels and stories, but the app is ramping up its DM feature as well. They recently added the ability to send HD images , and now they are further improving the experience by introducing a new sticker for music sharing inside Instagram DM. The feature is rolling out for both Android and iPhone users.
This new Music sticker lets you share song snippets inside Instagram DM from the app’s native music library. This option is available from the sticker menu in the chat space. Here’s a quick guide to show how you can use the music sticker on Instagram DMs.
- Open the Instagram chat where you want to send music.
- Tap on the sticker icon at the bottom right.
- Here, select the Music option from the top.
- You can now choose a song from the “ For you ” or “ Browse ” tabs or search for the song you want to send using the Search music bar at the top.
The other person or you can tap on this sticker to play the song at any time. You can even react to it by double tapping or long pressing on the song sticker. Along with this, Instagram has also recently rolled out the ability to schedule messages for later . Both features are available for Android and iPhone users with the latest version of Instagram.
