There’s no shortage of resources to be found throughout the sands of Arrakis in Dune Awakening. Being a survival-crafting game, all the resources you gather can be put towards creating essential items, weapons, stations, tools, and more. One crucial recipe players will want to complete as soon as possible is the Ornithopter, as it makes traveling much quicker and easier. However, you’ll need to collect a rare item named Diamondine Dust to craft the transport vessel. If you’re struggling to locate the resource, here’s how to get Diamondine Dust in Dune Awakening.

Where to Find Diamondine Dust in Dune Awakening

Diamondine Dust can be found in the Mysa Tarill area , southwest of the Eastern Shield Wall. To get to this area, you’ll need to head north of the Western Vermillius Gap on the left side of the map. This is a dangerous area meant for higher-level players, so keep that in mind before trekking all the way out there. Refer to the image below for the exact location.

Within this location, you’ll find five chests, each with a good chance of dropping Diamondine Dust. However, it’s important to remember that the resource is not a guaranteed drop. A bunch of creatures guard the area, but you can ignore them and make a beeline for the chests.

Once you know the ins and outs of Mysa Tarill, you can work out a quick farming route, making future resource runs easier.

Outside of finding it in chests, Diamondine Dust can be purchased from the Weapon Vendors located in the major settlements on the map. The resource costs 3,500 Solaris, and you can find it with the vendors at Hako Village and Arrakeen, for instance.

In addition, you can trade with other players at a social hub like Arrakeen or buy the resource from other players via the in-game auction house called the Exchange.
