To dual-wield weapons in Elden Ring Nighreign, you simply need to put armaments in both the left-hand and right-hand weapon slots . After acquiring multiple weapons, bring up the Equipment tab by pressing the pause button. Now, place the weapons you want to dual-wield in the first two slots as seen in the image above. Doing so will see your character wield weapons in both hands.
There are a few things to remember while selecting the weapons you want to dual-wield. For starters, if your character doesn’t meet the level requirement for a specific gun, dual-wielding it would be ill-advised since its damage output will be significantly reduced.
Secondly, some characters are better-suited to dual-wielding weapons. Examples include the Duchess and the Executor, who boast impressive Dexeterity, allowing you to chain those combos in rapid succession.
Furthermore, the best weapons to dual-wield are Curved Swords, Daggers, and Twinblades. These armaments are swift and lethal, and if you pair them together, procuring status effects will be a breeze. Lastly, it’s essential to remember that you will only get access to unique movesets if you dual-wield weapons of the same kind. This means that dual-wielding two Colossal Weapons will let you pull off special combos, while pairing a Colossal Weapon with a regular straight sword will result in standard attacks.
