Honkai Star Rail 3.8 will be released on December 16, 2025, at 08:00 PM PST for the NA servers and December 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM CST for the rest of the world. Here is a quick overview of the HSR 3.8 release timings in different time zones around the world:

The new update will add one new 5-star character — The Dahlia . She is a new meta Break Support who enables Super Break DMG without actually breaking the enemy toughness bar. Honkai Star Rail (HSR) 3.8 Maintenance End Time
Honkai Star Rail servers will undergo a maintenance break before the update goes live. The HSR 3.8 maintenance will start at 03:00 PM PST for NA servers on December 16, 2025, and at 06:00 AM CST on December 17, 2025, for the rest of the world. The maintenance is expected to last approximately 5 hours, after which the Honkai Star Rail 3.8 will be released.
During the maintenance break, players won’t be able to log into their accounts. Furthermore, all logged-in players will be forcefully kicked out when the maintenance begins. As compensation for maintenance, every Honkai Star Rail player with Trailblaze Level 4 or above before the maintenance begins will receive 300 Stellar Jades .
This compensation can be claimed from the in-game mail box after the update has been released. Make sure to claim the Stellar Jades before the version ends, or you will lose them forever.

Snack Dash is a weird racing event where you have to create, train, and support your critter to make them win their race. This can be done by boosting your critter’s speed or hampering other critters on the way. Overall, it’s a fun event and gives a ton of rewards for finishing it.
2. Relic Recon

Relic Recon is an event that allows players to farm one fully leveled set of Relic and Planar Ornaments for one of their characters with ease. Complete various tasks in the game, like finishing certain missions or daily challenges, to obtain cards. Use the cards to open chests and obtain Relics and Planar Ornaments with an increased chance of getting the best stats for that character.

The Golden Companion Spirit can be exchanged for a free 5-star character or 2 variable dice. The characters that can be obtained this way are — Topaz and Numby, Ruan Mei, Luocha, Himeko, Clara, Bronya, Welt, Gepard, Yanqing, and Bailu.
6. Cherished Recollection

Cherished Recollection is an event for players who buy Oneric Shards. Based on the total number of Oneric Shards bought in the game, earn additional rewards like Self-Modeling Resins, wearable headpieces, and a bow skin for Cyrene’s animations.
