The highly anticipated Honkai Star Rail 3.8 livestream has just come to an end, and it has been disappointing for many fans. Most players were looking forward to a preview of the upcoming Honkai Star Rail 4.0, which is expected to trailblaze into Edo Star. However, it seems we will have to wait for character reveals and information on the 4.x version, as Hoyoverse has also announced that version 3.8 will be longer than usual.

Honkai Star Rail 3.8 Will Last for 8 Long Weeks

It has been announced that Honkai Star Rail 3.8 will last 8 weeks, or 56 days, instead of the usual 42-day cycle. This means that Honkai Star Rail 4.0 will be delayed, and for good reason. Although there is no official confirmation, insider information reveals that the tensions between China and Japan have led to this delay .

Honkai Star Rail 4.0 is expected to take players to Edo Star , which is inspired by Japanese culture. However, due to the recent tensions between the two countries, Honkai Star Rail developers are said to be working overtime to minimize the Japanese elements from the 4.0 map and storylines. Although it is too late to entirely change the upcoming story or characters, the aesthetics and background can certainly be changed during this period. 1. Snack Dash

Snack Dash is a weird racing event where you have to create, train, and support your critter to make them win their race. This can be done by boosting your critter’s speed or hampering other critters on the way. Overall, it’s a fun event and gives a ton of rewards for finishing it.

2. Relic Recon

Relic Recon is an event that allows players to farm one fully leveled set of Relic and Planar Ornaments for one of their characters with ease. Complete various tasks in the game, like finishing certain missions or daily challenges, to obtain cards. Use the cards to open chests and obtain Relics and Planar Ornaments with an increased chance of getting the best stats for that character.

3. Gift of Odyssey

This is a recurring event that happens every Honkai Star Rail version. Players get ten or more Star Rail Premium passes for free by logging in daily over a period of seven days.

4. Planar Fissure

Planar Fissure is another recurring event in Honkai Star Rail that allows players to get double Planar Ornaments from the Simulated Universe. This event is great for farming Planar Ornaments for your characters.

5. Stellar Companions

The Stellar Companion event gives a free Golden Companion Spirit to all players who log in between version 3.7 and the end of 4.0. The Golden Companion Spirit can be exchanged for a free 5-star character or 2 variable dice. The characters that can be obtained this way are — Topaz and Numby, Ruan Mei, Luocha, Himeko, Clara, Bronya, Welt, Gepard, Yanqing, and Bailu.

6. Cherished Recollection

Cherished Recollection is an event for players who buy Oneric Shards. Based on the total number of Oneric Shards bought in the game, earn additional rewards like Self-Modeling Resins, wearable headpieces, and a bow skin for Cyrene’s animations.

7. Conductor’s Special Treat

Simply log in during the event period to obtain 1 Interference Key, 600 Lone Stardust, and 200 Jade Feather in the in-game mailbox.

8. Pact of Permansor Terrae
