Digging for ancient DNA just got serious because the devs at Grow a Garden have finally uncovered the legendary Pet Mutations Machine. And yes, that’s the wild core of this week’s update. But wait, there’s more than just mutated pets! A fresh batch of seeds and a whole lineup of new pets are also rolling into your garden. So, before the Dino Machine overheats, here are the full patch notes for the Grow a Garden Pet Mutations update!
Pet Mutations
- New Pet Mutation machine
- Pet Mutations : Giant, Tiny, Shocked, Ascend, and more 12 possible different mutations
Use the Pet Mutation machine to mutate your pets. The pets must be over 50 years old, so make sure you level up your pets in Grow a Garden first. Each new mutation upgrades pet traits and has a chance to add more passive abilities. Check our pets tier list and select the ones that deserve mutations.
Bonus Prehistoric Quests
- Added Bonus Prehistoric Quests
To help players get the Bone Blossom quickly, the new update brings bonus quests. The bonus quests will be on the sidebar of the Prehistoric quests and help earn more weekly ticks for completing simple quests.
DNA Machine Upgrade and Primal Eggs
- Dino Machine upgrade added
- 6 new Primal Eggs added to the crafting table and Dinosaur egg NPC Parasaurolophus Iguanodon Pachycephalosaurus Dilophosaurus Ankylosaurus Spinosaurus
Players can submit Prehistoric plants like the Bone Blossom or from the Ancient Seed pack to upgrade the DNA Machine. This will speed up the pet transformation process. The update also brings new Primal Eggs that can be obtained through the Dino egg NPC or the crafting station.
Pet Toys and New Seeds
- Added 5 new Pet Treats and Toys in the Gear Shop and Crafting Table Small Toy Medium Toy Small Treat Medium Treat Levelup Lollipop
- Added 5 new seeds , one in the Seed Shop and four in the Crafting Table Giant Pinecone Grand Volcania Horsetail Amber Spine Lingonberry
To level up pets faster, Grow a Garden is introducing new Pet Toys. These will help the pets gain additional XP to grow older. The Pet Mutations update also brings new seeds to Grow a Garden.
