Genshin Impact has almost completed its Natlan phase and it is time to look forward to Snezhnaya, the land of the Fatui. The game has been setting up for the Snezhnaya arc from day one of the game, ever since La Signora stole the first Gnosis. However, before the Traveler can head to Snezhnaya, they must go through Nod-Krai. Nod-Krai is one of the outer regions of Snezhnaya where traders from other regions can still enter and sell their goods. Nod-krai is a region located in the southernmost part of Snezhnaya and it also acts as an entry point to Snezhnaya. People from all over Teyvat gather at Nod-Krai for opportunities to get rich. Liben, a well-known merchant in Genshin Impact, who also acts as an informer for new regions, warned that people suspected of having a large amount of Mora are often targeted in Nod-Krai. This clearly labels Nod-Krai as a dangerous place where you can also get rich under the right opportunities.
When it comes to the scenery of Nod-Krai, it has been mentioned as a place with a harsh environment. Snezhnaya is has been mentioned to be a region with perpetual winter storms , so we can expect Nod-Krai to have a ton of snow, glaciers, blizzards, and an overall harsh environment. Players who enjoyed Dragonspine can look forward to visiting Nod-Krai.

Currently, we only know about one town in Nod-Krai named ‘Nasha ‘. Helka, one of the NPCs in Genshin Impact, asked the Traveler to ‘hit up the Speranza’ in Nasha Town if they ever found themselves in Nod-Krai.
We also know that there is a Fatui stronghold in Nod-Krai, which is led by Il Dottore, the second ranked Fatui Harbinger . Other than that, Mavuika mentioned that the people of Nod-Krai possess a secret power that is much older than the seven elements of Teyvat. We can expect Il Dottore to be interested in this power, which is why he is stationed in Nod-Krai.
When Will Nod-Krai be Added to Genshin Impact?
Nod-Krai is expected to be a big region and not just an add-on area like Chenyu Vale. Some of the leaks even mention that Nod-Krai will take place in the entirety of the version 6.x arc , while Snezhnaya will take place in version 7.x. Rumors say that the entire Snezhnaya arc will be in two phases, one in version 6.x and the final part in version 7.x. If this is not true, then we can expect Nod-Krai to be released at the end 5.x, or start of version 6.x, acting as an entryway to Snezhnaya.
