Genshin Impact Luna II has built on the Nod-Krai storyline, focusing on Nefer, the boss of the Curatorium of Secrets. She is also the only new character featured in the Luna II banners. Genshin Impact Luna II was released on October 22, 2025, and will end on December 2, 2025 . The Luna II update added the new Miliastra Wonderland UGC mode to the game, alongside a new character and multiple new events. However, the new update won’t feature a map extension.

Genshin Impact Luna II banners only feature one new playable character. The new character is going to be Nefer , the boss of the Curatorium of Secrets. Nefer is a 5-star Dendro character with the Catalyst weapon type.
