Long Night’s Oath Artifact: Best Characters

Xiao Genshin Impact - 2

  • Xiao
  • Varesa

The Long Night’s Oath is a plunge damage-focused artifact that works well with DPS units that can deal high plunge or charged attack damage. This artifact increases the Plunge damage of the wearer by 100% with max stacks, doubling the Plunge damage dealt by the character.

Although every character (see Genshin Impact tier list ) can do a Plunge attack, only a few characters have a focused kit around it. Here are the characters that can best utilize the new Long Night’s Oath artifact set in Genshin Impact:

  • The Long Night’s Oath will work best with Xiao in Genshin Impact . This is his new best in-slot artifact set, giving a 5-10% damage boost from his last best artifact option, Vermillion Hereafter. Xiao is considered the main Plunge DPS, so it’s no surprise that this new artifact set will work perfectly with him.
  • Varesa is the next best character for the Long Night’s Oath artifact set. Her kit is centered around Plunge damage, making this artifact the perfect pick for her as well.
  • Other characters that can be built for plunge damage with this artifact are Diluc and Gaming in Genshin Impact . However, they will have a much more difficult time in getting all of the stacks from the 4-piece set effect, making this set not an ideal pick for their builds.

How to Get Long Night’s Oath in Genshin Impact

Long Night’s Oath is yet to be released in Genshin Impact, so we don’t know the exact steps to reach this artifact domain. This artifact set will arrive with the release of Genshin Impact 5.5 and will be obtainable in the new Atcopan region of Natlan.

After the update drops, we will add a detailed section on how to reach the Derelict Masonry Dock domain and farm the Long Night’s Oath artifact set. Till then, bookmark our post and return after the update drops. Also, check out our Genshin Impact codes list for some extra Primogems before Varesa and Iansan arrive on the next banner.
