Outside this core loop, she’s responsible for dishing out damage using charged Incantations from a distance. She can occasionally use her passive to raise downed enemies as allies, but these phantoms serve little purpose outside of drawing aggro away from her teammates.
After acquiring the best Relics for the character, try implementing these tips to improve your capabilities with the Revenant:
1. Pick the Right Summon
The Revenant’s character skill, Summon Spirit, does precisely as the name suggests and lets you call upon a spectral friend to lend aid in battle. On activating the skill, you’ll see a submenu pop up giving you the choice between three allies: Helen the Page, Frederick the Pumpkin Head, or Sebastian the Giant Skeleton . All three have their own movesets, AI behaviours, and Ultimate attacks, and you can only summon one of them at a time. This makes it all the more important to pick the correct skeleton for the job.
Helen is a DEX-based warrior armed with a Rapier and some deft footwork. She’s best-suited to clear mobs of weak enemies like those found inside Forts. Frederick is significantly tankier in comparison and comes equipped with a blunt weapon that can dish out AOE damage. The ideal situation to deploy the Pumpkin Head is amid a boss fight, as he can serve as a tank that can attract the enemy’s aggro.

And since the character’s kit offers no way to restore FP (unlike the Recluse), you’ll need to rely on the Passives and Talismans mentioned above, alongside consumables like Starlight Shards.
3. Use Your Ultimate for Revives, Not for Summon Attacks
The Revenant’s Ultimate, Immortal March, is pretty underwhelming on the whole. Its saving grace is that it can revive all downed Nightfarers and allies caught in its area of effect. Alternatively, the ability can also trigger the Ultimate attack of the Revenant’s spectral family.
