Doom has always been about secrets, and the newest title isn’t any different. Village of Khalim is the first chapter in Doom The Dark Ages, and it’s packed with many secret areas tucked in discreet corners of the map. To get 100% completion in the chapter, it’s essential to discover all of these secret locations. Additionally, these areas also offer neat collectibles such as adorable Toys, weapon skins, Codex entries, and more. Doom The Dark Ages Chapter 1 Secret Areas
The Village of Khalim chapter in Doom The Dark Ages features a total of six Secret Areas . We’ve highlighted their locations below:
Secret Area 1

While heading towards the beach to defend it from a demon invasion, turn right, and jump towards a cavern that sits just underneath a bridge and beside the rocky mountain. Inside, you’ll find a Doom secret area with a weapon skin.
Secret Area 2

To access the second hidden area, you’ll need to acquire a Secret Key first, so be sure to get that. As for where it’s located, you’ll come across a metal gate lit up with a purple sign while following the main object. Interact with it once you have the key to unlock it.
Secret Area 3

The third Doom The Dark Ages secret sits atop a ledge just beyond the narrow path that’s flanked by debris on both sides. Climb the ledge and head forward to collect a Codex entry.
Secret Area 4

While progressing through the level, you’ll come across a dead end with a clear view of the white sigil that’s displayed atop a rock in the middle of the sea. Once you’re there, look down and jump onto the ledge situated right below . Follow along the path until you find yourself in a cave. Here, you’ll be able to pick up the Soldier Collectible Toy.
Secret Area 5

While you’re battling demons to clear the village, you can shield bash through a vulnerable wall to discover a secret area.
Secret Area 6

For the final secret location, you’ll need to follow the main objective until you obtain the Blue Key. After getting it, head back towards the chapter’s starting area and turn left to spot a metal gate with a blue sign on it. Interact with it to access the last hidden location and get the Imp Collectible Toy.
