Doom The Darks features a plethora of secret areas that feature many collectibles. Besides helping you get 100% chapter completion, they also hide rewards like toys, gold, upgrade materials, and more. Doom The Dark Ages Chapter 4 Secret Areas
Chapter 4 in Doom The Dark Ages features six secret areas in total. You can find out all their locations below:
Secret Area 1
The first hidden location is tucked behind a breakable wall. As usual, the wall will be marked with the purple shield sign, so be on the lookout. Hiding inside is the Hell Knight Collectible Toy .
Secret Area 2
While exploring the metallic corridors, you’ll come across a ledge marked with a green substance. Situated just above it is an illuminated skeleton lit up in green, inviting you to fling your shield at it. After throwing it, teleport to your shield, and you can access the secret location in Doom: The Dark Ages Sentinel Barracks.
Secret Area 3
The third secret area can be accessed by pulling a lever that leads to a climbable platform. Doing so will place you right above the corridor with the lever. Just follow the walkways right before you to get to the hidden location.
Secret Area 4
While heading towards the Dragon’s Den, look for a climbable platform tucked behind some trees and situated right next to the collapsed bridge. This will lead to a cellar with even more climbable platforms. Keep climbing until you see the green Doom The Dark Ages Life Sigil power up.
Secret Area 5
The fifth Secret Area also falls along the path to the Dragon’s Den. You’re looking for a series of metal gates with the unmistakable Ruby statue on the other side. After locating it, open up the map and look beneath the platform you’re standing on. You’ll find a greyed-out path sitting right below. So drop down, fight your way through it, and eventually, you’ll emerge on the other side with the Ruby in sight and the fifth Sentinel Barracks hidden location.
Secret Area 6
The final Secret Area is just slightly off the beaten path. Keep moving towards the main objective until you find yourself in a settlement that’s been set ablaze. You’ll also be ambushed by flaming skulls, letting you know you’re on the right path.Once you’re there, look for a flight of round stairs placed just beyond the fiery tree at the center of the settlement. After climbing them, you’ll find a group of distressed civilians and a new Doom The Dark Ages weapon skin .
