Chapter 11 in Doom The Dark Ages, aptly named Hellbreaker, lets players pilot the Atlan mech once again. On this occasion, the Slayer uses the 30-story colossus to reduce Hell’s fixtures to rubble before infiltrating Prince Ahzrak’s Castle. The level is packed with over-the-top combat and even a thrilling boss fight, but surprisingly, it’s almost entirely devoid of collectibles and secret areas. Besides an armor upgrade and some gold pick-ups, there isn’t much to see beyond the beaten path. That being said, the chapter does feature one collectible toy. To grab the Hellbreaker Toy from the secret area in Doom The Dark Ages, follow the main objective until you break through the castle’s outer gates. This means you’ll need to defeat the initial flurry of titans the game throws at you before advancing to the area where you receive the Shotgun. Use it to blow holes through more demons, until the game lets you knock down the outer gate.
After this, a cutscene will play, at the end of which the Doomslayer will exit the Atlan. Make a 180-degree turn once you get here, and you’ll find a question mark floating above the mech’s helm. Move towards it to get the Atlan Collectible Toy. Part of all toy locations in Doom The Dark Ages, this one was fun to get, wasn’t it?
