Death Stranding: On the Beach is a sequel to the original Death Stranding game that came out in 2019. Death Stranding 2 is a canonical follow-up to the first game and unravels in an episodic format similar to the first game. Sam and Lou’s story continues to be portrayed cinematically in an episodic format with main orders, aka missions, as you connect Mexico and Australia to the Chiral Network. As mentioned above, the story sees Fragile recruit Sam to first travel across Mexico and connect it to the UCA. Then, the latter part of the story sees him travel to Australia, face Higgs again, explore new regions and other enemies while expanding the Chiral Network.
