Daredevil Born Again has brought back The Man Without Fear, and the fanbase is appreciating what Marvel Studios is doing with one of their most beloved heroes. Sometimes, making a show or a movie by disregarding the comic accuracy has seriously backfired for Marvel, and at other times has earned them adoration from fans. With Daredevil: Born Again, Marvel went completely off track from Marvel Comics with Muse and his identity. However, I am really glad that Marvel did it and here’s why.
In Marvel Comics Muse’s Identity Was Never Revealed

In Marvel Comics, Muse is one of those characters who remains a complete black slate. In the context of Muse, all we got to know about him was that he used to kill people and use their bodies and blood to create murals all across New York City. Other than that, we don’t get a backstory on the origin and motivations of Muse, let alone his real name.
Because of this, even though Muse is a pretty interesting character, comic book fans can forget about him, but it seems that Marvel Studios, gave Muse the identity he deserves with Daredevil Born Again.

Hunter Doohan plays Muse/Bastian Cooper in Daredevil: Born Again . He has previously appeared in shows like Wednesday, Your Honour , and Soundwave .
Bastian Cooper Is the Identity of Muse in Daredevil: Born Again
In Daredevil: Born Again, we were introduced to Bastian Cooper, in episode 2 for the first time as a troubled boy who has been sent to a mental asylum multiple times for no apparent reason. Heather agrees to help him, and he starts going to her for therapy. However, in Daredevil Born Again Episode 7, we see that Bastian took what Heather said to him during therapy in a completely wrong way and ended up creating the persona of Muse.
He knocks out Heather, and when she wakes up, she sees Bastian dressed as Muse, who is attempting to use her blood to create a mural. However, before Muse can do Heather any real harm, he is tackled by Daredevil and later shot to death by Heather herself.
