- Cyberpunk 2077 will support all Apple Silicon Macs, from M1 to M4 Max processors, with at least 16 GB of RAM.
- M1 Macs can play the game at 1440 x 900 resolution with 30 FPS, while you need an M3 Pro for 1080p 60 FPS smooth gameplay.
- For high fidelity graphics, users must have an M2 Ultra or M3 Max, and for very high fidelity graphics, M3 Ultra or M4 Max is recommended.
The wait is almost over! Cyberpunk 2077 is coming out on macOS tomorrow, and ahead of the release, CD Projekt Red has finally revealed the official system requirements to run this graphics-heavy title on your Mac. And the specifications may leave some of you disappointed.
Yesterday, we reported that Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to all Apple Silicon Macs , from the first M1 to the latest M4 Max with 16 GB of unified RAM. To ensure optimal gameplay on all devices, CD Projekt Red has implemented a “for this Mac” preset that adjusts the graphic settings according to the hardware. But we didn’t know the specifics of this setting until now.
System Requirements for Cyberpunk 2077 on Mac
As you can see from the chart, we have a better idea of what kind of graphics settings to expect on different Mac hardware.

The minimum game settings require an M1 Mac , which will be able to offer 1440 x 900 or 1600 x 900 resolution with MetalFX Dynamic Resolution Upscaling at 30 FPS.
You will need an M3 Pro Mac with 18 GB of RAM to enjoy Night City at 1080p 60 FPS . For crisper “high fidelity” graphics, you should have either an M2 Ultra or an M3 Max system with 36 GB of RAM. This setup will provide resolutions of 2294 x 1432 or 2560 x 1440.
With an M3 Ultra or an M4 Max chip, you can play Cyberpunk at “very high fidelity”. The major difference between high and very high fidelity is that the latter can get you 1080p 60 FPS gameplay with medium raytracing (MetalFX DRS enabled). Whereas, the high fidelity preset can only push 30 FPS with the same resolution and medium raytracing settings.
The game is also going to feature AMD’s FSR upscaling and frame generation . So, gamers can tweak the settings to get a more favorable resolution and FPS on their machines. The game will be available via all major platforms, including the Mac App Store, Steam, GOG.com, and Epic Game Store. So be prepared to land in Night City on your Mac tomorrow.

- Apple could release the first iOS 26 public beta as soon as next week, likely on July 23rd.
- This comes unusually late, as Apple typically releases public builds just days after developer beta 3.
- That is why it is likely we might see developer beta 4 arrive tomorrow before the public beta drops.
Like it or not, the iOS 26 update introduces a major design overhaul with Liquid Glass, which everyone has been eagerly waiting to try out for themselves. Well, you won’t have to wait long, as the first iOS 26 public beta is likely to go live next week on July 23rd.
This confirmation doesn’t come from Apple, but from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who responded to an X post, revealing the expected date for the public beta. He said in his post, “around the 23rd” . Public beta updates are generally more polished and stable than the Developer builds, which are already available right now.
Typically, public beta updates are released sometime after the release of the third developer beta, which has already been released with a toned-down Liquid Glass effect . However, it seems unusually late this time, so I am speculating whether the company plans to release iOS 26 developer beta 4 before the public build. If Apple is following its usual 7-day gap between beta releases, then I would guess DP4 could arrive tomorrow .
But again, this is my prediction, and it might not come to fruition. That said, I am looking forward to the public beta of iOS 26 , as it is likely to bring a more refined experience with the Liquid Glass design , suitable for everyday use. Still, these are beta updates, and they are prone to stability issues. So keep that in mind if you are planning to install the iOS 26 public beta on your iPhone next week.

- Apple is reportedly in talks with OpenAI and Anthropic to help power its upcoming AI-powered Siri voice assistant.
- The company is struggling to develop its LLM-based Siri, which will be more conversational and better at processing information.
- This will help Apple catch up in the AI race where it has been falling behind to the competition.
Apple has so far struggled to develop its new and improved Siri voice assistant, which is why a new report suggests that the company might be seeking help from AI giants like OpenAI and Anthropic to power Apple’s AI-enabled Siri ambition.
According to Bloomberg , the Cupertino giant is in talks with both OpenAI and Anthropic to build the next generation of AI-powered Siri, which could also run on Apple’s cloud infrastructure for testing.

We reported in May that Apple is working on a new LLM-based Siri , which will be more conversational and better at processing information. The company is likely having trouble building its own large language model, prompting it to reach out to other leaders in the AI industry.
Apple faced backlash after it failed to successfully deliver the promising new Siri, delaying its plans from 2025 to 2026 or even further. Apple is also looking to buy Perplexity AI to help improve its current set of Apple Intelligence features .
To be honest, Apple is struggling to catch up in the AI race, while its competitors are already gearing forward with rapid advancements. The company has to take some bold steps if it wants to catch up with Google’s Gemini, or it will end up far behind. And this could be why, instead of investing and building in-house frontier AI models, Apple is seeking help from other AI players.

- Apple and Google have officially confirmed their team-up for the next-gen Siri AI.
- The Cupertino Giant will be using Google’s Gemini for a more personalized Siri model as well as Apple Intelligence features.
- We can expect the next-gen Siri to come out with iOS 26.4, sometime in March or April.
Apple has officially confirmed joining forces with Google to use its Gemini AI model to power the next-generation Siri. It will offer a more personalized experience and will be coming out with the iOS 26.4 update. Apple also plans to leverage Gemini’s capabilities for other Apple Intelligence features as well, later down the line.
The Next-Gen Siri will be powered by Google’s Gemini AI
Apple officially confirmed that it will be partnering with Google in a statement to CNBC . Here’s what it stated, “After careful evaluation, we determined that Google’s technology provides the most capable foundation for Apple Foundation Models, and we’re excited about the innovative new experiences it will unlock for our users.”
Later, Google also shared a post on X confirming the tie-up, “Apple and Google have entered into a multi-year collaboration under which the next generation of Apple Foundation Models will be based on Google’s Gemini models and cloud technology. These models will help power future Apple Intelligence features, including a more personalized Siri coming this year.”

Both statements clearly mention that the Cupertino Giant will be using Gemini to power its assistant Siri. This was already rumored, as Apple’s attempts to acquire Perplexity went nowhere. With Gemini, Siri will get a major AI update . It will be able to handle more nuanced conversations and provide better results. Something long-time Apple users have been asking for years.
The next-gen Siri will arrive with the iOS 26.4 update, which will launch sometime in March or April. And it is only going to be available for Apple Intelligence-supported devices .
Something else worth noting is how Google’s statement mentions that Gemini will power Apple Intelligence features. This leads us to believe that Apple could use Gemini’s multi-modal capabilities for its Writings tools , Image Playground , and Message summaries, too.
Elon Musk Not Happy With Apple and Google Tie Up
xAI CEO Elon Musk also responded to Google’s announcement post on X, sharing his thoughts on the matter by saying, “This seems like an unreasonable concentration of power for Google, given that they also have Android and Chrome.” Though we don’t expect either Apple or Google to respond to Elon, we will update the situation as it progresses.
It is worth noting that xAI is the company behind Grok, which is in hot water currently due to its inappropriate image generation fiasco , and has been getting backlash from multiple news outlets, X users, and even government authorities.
