Want to tune into some quality television shows like “The Sopranos”, and “Succession” or want to watch breathtaking movies like “Oppenheimer” and the new “Dune” franchise, then Max (formerly HBO Max) is the way to go. But its subscription doesn’t come cheap. That’s why, we have compiled a list of the best deals and discounts, you can grab on Max this season. So let’s get started.

1. Disney+, Hulu and Max Bundle

Disney+Hulu and Max Bundle - 1
  • Ad-supported Bundle: $25.97 $16.99
  • Ad Free Bundle: $48.97 $29.99

First on the list is the Disney+, Hulu, and Max bundle which launched earlier this year. It is the best Max deal, as it gives you the entire content library of all three services at a fairly reasonable price. The ad-supported version includes Disney+ Basic, Hulu base plan, and Max (with Ads). But if you don’t like interruptions then the ad-free plan will get you Disney+ Premium, Hulu, and Max (No Ads).

Given the Max subscription alone costs $9.99 for the ad-supported version and $16.99 for the ad-free version, this is the best deal you can get. Another benefit is you can watch content on two devices simultaneously. So you can watch your favorite Marvel movies while keeping up with the latest season of “The House of Dragons”.

2. Free Max with AT&T Plans

If you are an AT&T customer, then you’re in luck, as you might be eligible to claim a Max subscription for free. Yes, certain AT&T plans include the Max subscription at no extra charge, and its validity lasts as long as you have the plan . However, this offer is limited to select plans, so check this list to see if you qualify for free Max.

  • AT&T Unlimited Elite
  • AT&T Unlimited Plus
  • AT&T Unlimited Plus Enhanced
  • AT&T Unlimited Choice
  • AT&T Unlimited Choice II
  • AT&T Unlimited Choice Enhanced
  • AT&T Unlimited &More Premium

If you have any of these plans, then you can get Max for free. However, you may be required to activate it in my AT&T account. But do note that this is the ad-supported version of the subscription.

3. Cricket Wireless with Max

Cricket Wireless Max Plan - 2
  • $60 per month

Cricket is another carrier that offers a Max subscription for their customers. Their $60 plan includes the ad-supported tier of Max subscription for free, just like AT&T. Other than Max, customers will also get unlimited calling, unlimited internet, and 15GB of hotspot data.

If you already have the plan, then you can activate it through the Max app itself. Just select Connect with Provider , choose Cricket , and then sign in with your customer details. It’s a good way to get Max if you’re in search of a plan already.

4. DashPass + Max

DashPass Max Bundle - 3
  • $9.99 per month
  • $96 per year

DoorDash has its own membership plan, DashPass, which includes free delivery, lower service fees, 5% DoorDash credit back, and special membership discounts. And if you use the meal delivery service often, you likely have a membership already. But did you know, it also includes the Max subscription as well?

It’s the ad-supported version of Max, as is standard with all other services. However, you practically receive two benefits for the price of one because Max’s plan alone costs the same. So, why not grab DashPass and binge-watch your favorite shows while snacking on some delicious food?

5. Max Annual Subscription

HBO Max Annual Subscription - 4
  • Ad-supported: $119.88 $99
  • Ad-free: $203.88 $169.99

There is no doubt that the monthly subscription to Max is a bit costly (probably why you are here). But if you go the annual route, then you can save about 17% of your hard-earned money. Especially when you know that you are going to be using the service for a long time.

The annual plan will knock almost $20 off the ad-supported tier, and $33 off the ad-free premium tier. This is still quite expensive than other services, but it’s the price you have to pay for a library of critically acclaimed TV shows and movies.

6. Max Student Discount

Max Student Discount - 5
  • $9.99 $4.99 per month
  • $16.99 $9.99 per month
