Let’s be honest: 2024 was a fantastic year for video games. With so many amazing releases, it left a good taste in our mouths. However, if the exciting news is anything to go by, 2025 is going to be an absolute blast for gaming. With titles like GTA 6 and Doom: The Dark Ages coming to our consoles and PCs very soon, it will be a hell of a ride. Want to know what’s in store for gamers this year? Games Releasing in June 2025
June 2025 is chock-full of Nintendo Switch 2 games . Having been announced recently, the Switch 2 brings many AAA titles to the simple handheld factor. This is, by far, an amazing feat as we will get to see the likes of Cyberpunk 2077 and Hogwarts Legacy in the Nintendo ecosystem. Oh, and who can forget about Death Stranding 2? That said, here are all the upcoming video games for June 2025:

August itself doesn’t house a lot of exciting games just yet. However, I am looking forward to the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater game coming out on August 28. Some of the other upcoming video games during this month are:
Games Releasing in September 2025
This is where things decide to get a little thin. Currently, there aren’t many games with a confirmed September 2025 release date. Nonetheless, we have three of the most solid upcoming video game launches that I personally am looking forward to. These are:
- Hell is Us : September 4 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)
- Borderlands 4 : September 12 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)
- Hollow Knight Silksong : TBA (PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One)
Games Releasing in October 2025
Like September, there is little information on games launching in October 2025. That said, here are some of the upcoming video games coming this month:
- Directive 8020 : October 2 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)
- Ghost of Yotei : October 2 (PS5)
- Double Dragon Revive : October 23 (PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One)
Games Releasing in November-December 2025
This area is what we call the great void. Currently, there are almost zero games with a confirmed release date for the tail end of the year. Fear not, however, as that’s normal. As the year drags on, developers will provide more information about their game’s release for this window.
Upcoming 2025 Games with No Release Date
In the field of vagueness, listed below are the video games that will be released sometime in 2025. While they don’t have a particular release date, we know they will likely come this year. However, one thing is certain: Grand Theft Auto 6 is delayed to 2026 .
