One of the easiest ways to earn a quick 25,000 XP is by finding and investigating the massive footprints left behind by the King of Monsters. Let’s walk through exactly how to complete this quest quickly and safely.
Where to Find Godzilla’s Footprints
The Godzilla footprints in Fortnite can be found on the eastern coastline near Shattered Span – and yes, that’s the area that used to be called Shining Span before something massive apparently destroyed the bridge there. When you’re approaching the area, you’ll notice the bridge has been completely demolished, which serves as a pretty good hint that something enormous passed through.

The easiest way to locate the footprints is to aim for the beach area east of Shattered Span during your initial drop. The prints are so massive that you can actually spot them from the air while gliding down. They appear as three giant impressions in the sand, leading straight into the water. You can’t miss them – they’re bigger than the size of a jeep.
How to Complete Godzilla Footprint Quest
Actually, completing the quest is super straightforward – just walk up to the footprints, and you’ll automatically investigate them . There’s no need to press any buttons or perform any special actions. As soon as you get close enough, you’ll receive your 25,000 XP reward .
This quest is just the beginning of the Godzilla content coming to Fortnite. Starting January 17, more Godzilla-themed quests will become available, including the chance to actually transform into the monster itself. While we don’t know if this current footprints quest will count toward the upcoming Godzilla mini battle pass, it’s definitely worth completing for the XP alone.
